Scott

podcast producer/host

Scott is a veteran filmmaker with more than 20 years of experience in feature-film production, directing, and studio operations. A Milwaukee native and graduate of the USC School of Cinema-Television, he began his career under independent film legend Roger Corman before producing and directing his first features, Beach House and Art House. He later helped transform The Asylum into a high-volume production company, designing systems that enabled the release of 12 films per year and contributing to the studio's widely recognized "mockbuster" model and Syfy Channel output deal.

Scott went on to launch Bullet Films and Activity Film Services, overseeing production, post-production, and visual-effects operations across Louisiana and Connecticut. His work includes theatrical releases such as Dorothy and the Witches of Oz and collaborations with Anchor Bay and Lionsgate. He later joined producer Philippe Martinez to deliver a slate of international productions and directed The Little Mermaid, released worldwide in 2024. In addition to his film career, Scott was an early contributor to Andrew Breitbart's new-media network and serves on the Board of Directors for Taliesin Nexus, supporting emerging filmmakers.
