Proud American Studios exists to bring together patriots, veterans, first‑responders, and supporters who care about defending the American way of life. These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) explain how to participate in our members‑only community, comment areas, and messaging features (collectively, the “Community”).
By accessing or using any Community features, you agree to follow these Guidelines, along with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies. If you do not agree, please do not participate in the Community.
1. PURPOSE OF THE COMMUNITY
The Proud American Studios Community is designed to:
Connect members who share an interest in patriotic content, national security, service, and American history.
Provide a respectful space to discuss our shows, documentaries, micro‑series, and related topics.
Encourage learning, support, and constructive conversation—never harassment or extremism.
We reserve the right to decide what content and behavior align with this mission.
2. GENERAL CONDUCT EXPECTATIONS
We expect all members to:
Treat others with respect, even when you disagree. Attack ideas, not people.
Use clear, civil language and avoid personal insults, name‑calling, and profanity directed at others.
Follow all applicable laws and avoid posting anything that could reasonably be considered threatening, defamatory, or inciting violence.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that undermine a safe, productive environment.
3. PROHIBITED CONTENT
The following content is not allowed anywhere in the Community, including posts, comments, usernames, profile bios, and private messages where we become aware of violations:
Hate or harassment based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
Threats or incitement of violence, including encouragement of terrorism or unlawful acts.
Extremist propaganda or material that praises or promotes hostile foreign adversaries, terrorist organizations, or violent extremist groups.
Graphic content that is excessively violent, gory, or sexually explicit.
Illegal activity, including instructions or encouragement for fraud, hacking, piracy, drug trafficking, or other criminal conduct.
Spam and scams, including misleading links, pyramid schemes, and deceptive promotions.
Impersonation, including pretending to be another member, public figure, or Proud American Studios staff.
We may remove or restrict content that, in our judgment, approaches these lines even if it does not clearly cross them.
4. RESPECT FOR PRIVACY
To protect everyone’s safety and privacy:
Do not post anyone’s personal information (for example, home address, phone number, private email, or identifying workplace details) without clear consent.
Do not share private conversations or direct messages without the other party’s permission.
Use discretion when discussing your own sensitive information, such as deployment details, operational experiences, or identifying information about others in your chain of command or agency.
We may remove posts and take action where we believe privacy or security is at risk.
5. PATRIOTIC FOCUS AND POLITICAL DISCUSSION
Proud American Studios is a patriotic, pro‑American community. Healthy debate is welcome, but:
Keep discussions focused on ideas, policy, and content—not personal attacks on other members.
Avoid flooding threads with repetitive political slogans, off‑topic campaigns, or coordinated calls to action that drown out genuine conversation.
We may limit or close threads where political discussion becomes hostile, unproductive, or inconsistent with our mission of constructive, pro‑American dialogue.
6. USERNAMES, PROFILES, AND AVATARS
Your display name, profile photo, and bio must:
Avoid slurs, explicit sexual content, or direct attacks on individuals or groups.
Avoid impersonating real people, including Proud American Studios staff, law‑enforcement, or public officials.
Avoid using logos or insignia in ways that would mislead others into thinking you speak on behalf of an agency, unit, or organization when you do not.
We may modify, restrict, or require you to change profile elements that violate these rules.
7. SHARING CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
When posting articles, images, or clips:
Only share content you have the right to share, or that is clearly available for public sharing.
Credit original sources where reasonable (for example, linking to the original article or mentioning the creator).
Do not post full movies, TV episodes, or other copyrighted material you do not own or control.
By posting in the Community, you grant Proud American Studios the limited rights described in our Terms and Conditions to display and use your content in connection with the Services.
8. USER‑GENERATED VIDEOS AND MEDIA
Within the Community, members may be able to upload short videos or other media:
Follow all rules above for prohibited content, privacy, and intellectual property.
Do not upload footage that reveals operationally sensitive locations, tactics, or identifiable individuals without consent.
If your media includes music, images, or clips created by others, ensure you have the necessary rights or that the material is legitimately license‑free.
We may disable, limit, or remove user‑generated video functionality at any time.
9. NO ADVERTISING OR SELF‑PROMOTION (WITH LIMITED EXCEPTIONS)
To keep the Community focused:
Do not post unsolicited ads, referral links, or promotions for your own products, services, or channels unless we have expressly allowed it in a specific area.
Do not use the Community primarily as a lead‑generation channel for your business, political campaign, or organization.
Limited, relevant sharing (such as a resource or project directly related to a discussion) may be allowed where it genuinely adds value and complies with these Guidelines.
We may remove promotional posts and, if persistent, restrict or terminate accounts.
10. REPORTING AND MODERATION
10.1 How to Report. If you see content or behavior that appears to violate these Guidelines, please report it using the Community’s built‑in reporting tools or by contacting support through the platform.
10.2 Moderation Decisions. Proud American Studios staff and designated moderators may:
Remove or edit content.
Issue warnings.
Temporarily suspend Community access.
Permanently ban accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these Guidelines.
Moderation decisions are final and may be based on information that is not publicly visible. We are not obligated to explain every individual decision.
11. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your Community access, or your entire Proud American Studios account, if we believe:
You have violated these Guidelines, the Terms and Conditions, or any applicable law;
Your behavior poses a risk to other members, to Proud American Studios, or to public safety; or
You have engaged in fraud, harassment, or repeated disruptive conduct.
Termination does not entitle you to refunds, except where required by law or by our Payment Policy.
12. “NOT MONITORED 24/7” AND EMERGENCIES
The Community is not monitored 24/7, and it is not an emergency response service.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call local emergency services.
Do not rely on the Community to report crimes, imminent threats, or urgent security matters that require law‑enforcement action.
13. CHANGES TO THESE GUIDELINES
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
Your continued participation in the Community after any changes become effective means you accept the updated Guidelines.
