Ian "Patches" Liburd, JP

A Former Ambassador to the United Nations who has served his country well as an elected Member of Parliament and Minister of Public infrastructure, Post, Urban Development and Transport. Liburd is versed in a range of public and private sector matters and holds the Degree of Master in Business Administration (MBA), a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies and is a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport also the Chartered Management Institute.

Liburd has also served in top public sector positions including CEO of the St Christopher Air and Seaports Authority (SCASPA); Director of Maritime Affairs and Permanent Secretary in severalMinistries of government. He also hosted the podcast “Straight Talk”, twice weekly, for many years, even while serving as a government minister.
